5 Books I Read and Loved While I’m on Hiatus

So here I am again after another unannounced hiatus. I promised over the summer that I will be back full-time on my blog but it just never happened because of my summer job and uni just started and it felt so overwhelming. But enough for excuses. I’m finally back this time and ready to recommend to you some books I read while I was on hiatus. (Shame on me but these are the only books I read in four months.)

The Yearbook by Carol Masciola

The Yearbook by Carol Masciola

The lovely people from Merit Press sent me this book at the beginning of summer and I have been waiting for this since October of last year so I just had to read it immediately. I was so excited because it’s a book set in the 1920’s. The story is captivating. There was never a dull moment in the book. This book is for anyone who is looking for a light but insightful read.

The Intern by Gabrielle Tozer

The Intern (The Intern #1) by Gabrielle Tozer

I think I saw this book over at Emily’s or Cait’s blog and was really intrigued by it because the main character is an intern at a magazine which is my dream since I was like in elementary school. This is for girls (and guys!) who are goal driven. I’m sure you will find yourself in Josie.

Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom

I seriously think that this book should be read by all the people of this planet. If you’re going to read one book for the rest of your life, then pick this.

The Girl in 6E by A.R. Torre

The Girl in 6E (Deanna Madden #1) by A.R. Torre

This book pulled me out of my reading slump. If it weren’t for this book I wouldn’t want to get back at my reading game again. You would like this if you want a sexy, mysterious and thrilling read.

Slammed by Colleen Hoover

Slammed (Slammed #1) by Colleen Hoover

This is my new favorite New Adult book. It has everything: family relationships, love, starting over again and the love for the written words. This books has me hooked on watching slam after slam on Youtube.

Have you read any of these fantastic books? What do you think about them?
