Blogger Dreams

blogger dreams

Hey guys I’m sorry I haven’t posted much but I’m having a rough week and I’m still trying to get through it. I actually haven’t finished any book this week which rarely happens. To do something productive I though I’d share you guys some my dreams for myself as a blogger and for this little blog of mine.

1. Have a book blogger as a best friend.

I have met a lot of nice people here on the book blogosphere and also on bookstagram (I have a bestie on bookstagram! Here she is!) but I also want to have a book blogger as best friend. I’m trying to convince my bookstagram bestie to make a blog so maybe she can be both my bookstagam and book blogger best friend!

2. Move to self-hosted WordPress.

The day I move to self-hosted WordPress is the day I win at life.

I can just imagine how easy and awesome everything will be when I make the move. I’M ALSO DESPERATE TO HAVE THEΒ UBB PLUGIN OKAY.

But I’m just a college student who still depends on her lovely parents for money so this will have to wait.

3. Have a unique theme and beautiful blog design.

I want to have the Tweak Me v2 ThemeΒ it has so many options that everything will be easy for me. I want my blog to be designed by Hazel or Ashley. Just imagine my blog to be angel-themed guys. It will be so beautiful. Unfortunately, this requires a huge amount of money again that I do not have right now.

4. Be good at graphic design…

…so I can show you guys pretty-looking edits etc. on the blog. The ones I’m making now aren’t good at all. I use Canva almost all the time. Canva is really awesome and helpful but I would like to make my own graphics in the future.

5. Meet fellow bloggers in real life.

We can eat good food together and just talk about books for hours. Sounds awesome. (I’m really awkward and super shy by the way sooo…)

6. Have publishers/authors send me physical ARCs.

It will be just a great feeling.

7. Hold an awesome giveaway.

I’ve been wanting to do this since forever but yeah money problems again. Maybe when I get a job someday. πŸ™‚

8. Go to Book Expo America.

Seriously, do I need to explain why? Also, it will be held in Chicago next year and Chicago is like my favorite city in the U.S. *hyperventilates*

and lastly…

9. Have people actually love my blog.

I’ll have this warm, fuzzy feeling inside of me if it happens.

  1. Aw, but I do love your blog, Angel, so that’s one more on the list! And we can always meet sometime. I’m planning to have another book blogger meet up with my blogger friends and you can join us by then! You can also ask Amir @ Not So Literary to design for you when you go self-hosted as she also designs (and you can pay by installment, too!). She’s more into making your website mobile-friendly, have tons of features, and well, awesome and elegant! Although of course, she can always make it more personalized, too πŸ˜€ I really recommend her! In any case, I also dream to be in BEA someday. Hopefully it will come true next year for you and me!

    1. I must screenshot this and show it to my children and grandchildren! Hahaha πŸ˜€ But really, I’ll read this whenever I’m having a bad day. You made my night Ate Faye! Thank you so much, you’re one of my favorite bloggers so you saying you love my blog is such a huge compliment! I would love to meet you and other local bloggers. πŸ™‚ I’ll look for Amir when I make the big move! Thanks again Ate Faye! πŸ™‚ Hihi. πŸ™‚

  2. Aww, I’m sorry that you’re having a rotten week… but I’m sure you have readers that love your blog, so you can check off that goal! And me too, I have a dream of becoming self hosted and hosting great giveaways… one day, one day. πŸ™‚
