The Angel Messenger is a weekly recap feature on the blog where I tell you what happened in the past week in my life, blog and around the blogosphere. This post links to The Sunday Post by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and Stacking the Shelves by Team Tynga’s Reviews.
I thought I was going to write how unproductive my week went like I always say in my weekly recaps but now I have something that is a little interesting to say to you guys.
So in a typical weekday night, I saw a post on Instagram that caught my attention and made me a little envious of that person and made me think what I would do if I have the things she has but I couldn’t think of anything. So it made me realize that I may be jealous of what other people have that I don’t but maybe, it doesn’t mean that those things are what I truly need right now in my life.
In other news, I’m still unproductive.
I only finished Animal Farm by George Orwell this week as it was a required reading in our English Literature class. I enjoyed it very much even if there were some boring parts. It was refreshing to read a fable as I haven’t read much of those even when I was a kid. The Lord of the Flies was another required reading but sadly, I didn’t finish it. 🙁 So I just read the summary (ha!) so I can answer some of the questions in the recitation. Good thing, I was paired with my dear friend in the recitation. So what we did was to show one similarity between Animal Farm and The Lord of the Flies.
I also bought an MHC book last Thursday for only P 10! It has been so long since I read a very good mystery book so I’m excited to read this one!
Aaaaand I also got the books I won from a giveaway on IG! Look they’re soooo pretty!
And did I mention that they’re signed? 😉
I already read The Beginning of Everything last year and LOVED it so damn much but it was only a borrowed copy so having my OWN SIGNED COPY is such a good feeling! I’m also looking forward to reading How to Love! Super duper big thanks to Ate Pam for giving me these precious!
